Turning Wellness Goals Into Healthy Lifestyle Habits

My BLH Wellness is committed to helping foster healthy living for a lifetime

Whether you are an adult wanting to learn how to nourish your body & incorporate movement/exercise into your daily schedule, a woman who wants to be in good health before, during and after pregnancy, a parent who wants a place for your child(ren) to experience fun exercise and develop a passion for healthy living, or an employer wanting to create a healthy work environment that helps employees cope better with workplace and personal stress, we’ve got a program for you.

Concept

We know how easy it is to place less focus on wellness when starting or growing a family, building a career or business. We understand what it is like to be inundated with stress and have less time to enjoy the joys in life. We model a healthy lifestyle for our children and clients in spite of our busyness. It is our mission to lead and empower individuals and their families to nourish their bodies in a way that honors their health and taste buds, stay active, manage stress and enjoy life, practice self-care, and build in time for each other.

Core Values

Our core values reflect ideas that guide our conduct and approach with our clients, partners, and each other. We strive to work with integrity, foster independence, be relevant, be strengths-based, be dedicated, adhere to professional excellence, and be balanced in the most authentic and sincere way.

FULL BIO

I’m Anthony, Personal Trainer, & Wellness Consultant.

Prior to meeting Sabrina in 2008, I was actively involved in the fitness world for over 15 years. I worked with individuals, corporations, and government entities in providing consultation and on-site fitness training and nutrition and fitness education.

Today, as a Fitness Trainer and Nutritional Specialist, I offer not only the knowledge and experiences that I’ve obtained over the years. But my personal experiences with parenting, running a business, and other competing priorities, helps me to offer advice for the everyday person.

My style of training is about touching on the ten components of fitness to help you move better and get stronger. As a Prenatal and Postpartum Care Specialist I am able to safely support expectant and new mothers in their fitness journey too. I was actively involved in supporting my wife’s prenatal care, delivery, and postpartum care for both our children.

My hope and prayer is that I can help you to get and stay active, and nourish your body now and not when things are less hectic and busy!

FULL BIO

I’m Sabrina, Registered Social Worker, & Wellness Coach.

I know you’re busy. I know that there are things you want to do that you know is good for your health, but you’re not doing them. Maybe on the seldom occasion but not regularly.

There is a lot of information circling about how to live a healthy lifestyle, and it’s often not relatable. Perhaps you’ve tried using a meal plan and failed, started an exercise routine and stopped, practiced self-care activities that centres you but as an afterthought instead of a priority. I can relate because I’ve done all of those things.

For over 15 years I’ve worked in a nonprofit direct service setting. Much of the work I did was crisis oriented and urgent, and prioritizing health and well-being was the last thing that was on my mind. And then I became a mom seven years ago and this goal of mine to prioritize my health went lower on my list of priorities.

Thankfully that story is me in the past and not right now. Today while working in a nonprofit management service setting during the day, and raising a 7 and 5 year old, I have sustainable lifestyle practices that keeps me fueled, nourished, and helps me to be the wife, mom and professional I want to be!

My hope and prayer is that I can help you build and practice healthy habits when it comes to activity, nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness daily and overtime. This is what will help optimize yours and your family’s health.
